Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information our games and this website collect, why, and what choices you have. It applies to all games published by Thanik Games on Google Play and the Apple App Store, and to thanikgames.com.

Who we are

Thanik Games is an independent game studio based in Greece, run as a sole proprietorship. We are the data controller for the information described here. Contact us any time at support@thanikgames.com.

What we collect

Our games do not ask you to create an account, and we do not ask for your name, email address, contacts, photos or precise location. Your progress (for example coins and upgrades) is stored on your device.

When you play, the following may be collected automatically:

• Gameplay and usage data: anonymous events such as sessions, levels started or finished, and in-game purchases, used to improve the game and fix problems.
• Device and diagnostic data: device model, operating system, app version, language, crash reports and performance data.
• Advertising data: if a game shows ads, our ad partners may collect your device's advertising ID, IP address and information about the ads you see and tap, to show ads, limit how often you see them, measure them and prevent fraud.

Third-party services

We use trusted partners to run our games. Depending on the game, these may include Unity (game engine, analytics and Unity Ads), Google (Google Play services, AdMob and Firebase) and Apple. Each processes data under its own privacy policy:

Purchases

In-app purchases are handled entirely by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We never see or store your payment details.

Your choices

• Ads: in the EEA and UK we ask for your consent before showing personalised ads. You can reset or limit your advertising ID in your device settings (Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads; iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking).
• Deleting your data: uninstalling a game removes the progress stored on your device. To ask us or our partners to delete any data linked to your device, email us and we will help.
• Your rights: under the GDPR you can ask to access, correct, delete or move your data, or object to its use. You can also complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (dpa.gr).

Legal basis

We process data to provide the game you asked for (contract), to improve and secure our games (legitimate interest) and, for personalised ads, with your consent.

Children

Our games are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

How long we keep data

Analytics and diagnostic data are kept only as long as needed to improve our games, and no longer than 26 months. Our partners keep data according to their own policies.

This website

thanikgames.com sets no cookies and uses no trackers. It loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google's servers when you visit. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
